Gold Coast International Airport is a relatively small city airport located on Queensland’s Gold Coast.
The terminal building is a single level divided between domestic and international flights. Although it has recently been upgraded to have a much larger terminal building, it is still not far from inside to the outside area to smoke as long as you haven’t passed through security.
Majority of flights to this airport are domestic flights so security isn’t as long a process as it is for international flights.
The GCA website lists no information for smokers.
There are smoking areas adjacent to the terminal building across from the terminal roadway. Look out for the signs.
Smoking is not permitted near buildings and entrances.
There is NO smoking inside the terminal including for international areas after security.
