Adelaide Airport isn’t the mecca of airports so the number of smoking areas is limited.
Smoking is still only allowed outside the terminal building.
On level 1 (ground) and 2 (upstairs) at either end of the terminal are smoking areas. These areas are under cover but have limited seating. The level 2 areas have little cover so if it’s raining you’ll probably get wet, head downstairs for more cover.
On level 1 at the northern end of the terminal near the International arrivals area you’ll find a larger smoking area with large picnic tables available to sit on. This area is also under cover and more relaxing if you’re planning on staying for a while.
According to Adelaide Airport’s website you can also smoke in the Thomas Coopers Bar on the ground level.
